Ray, Banks, ‘View’ Big Emmy Winners
Rachael Ray, Tyra Banks and the hosts of The View wake up Monday morning big winners of Sunday’s 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
"There’s always room for another gal at our table, especially when her name is Emmy," said The View's Whoopi Goldberg about that group's historic win.
The Rachael Ray Show picked up the Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show Entertainment, beating out Live with Regis and KellyThe Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The Tyra Banks Show goes home with the Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show Informative, sending both The Dr. Phil Show and The Doctors packing.
And all five co-hosts of The View scored little statuettes, together being named Outstanding Talk Show Host. Goldberg, Joy Behar,
Barbara Walters, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and Sherri Shepherd beat Live's Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, Ray and Ellen DeGeneres.
