Oprah Scores Marion Jones’
First Post-Prison Interview
Marion Jones makes her first post-prison appearance on today’s Oprah. It’ll be the first time she’ll talk publically about her prison stay following her perjury conviction. The former track star and Olympic medalist lied about taking illicit performance enhancing drugs.
Part of her conviction included returning three gold medals she won in the 2000 Sydney Olympics. It also included a six-month stint in lock-up.
On the program, Jones says giving back the medals was less difficult than living with a tarnished memory.
