Overview:
Former sit-com star and stand-up comedian George Lopez added another line to his resume when he became host of his own talk show in November 2009.
Lopez' show is an hour-long program airing at 11 p.m. weeknights. It's described as a show with an outdoor street-party atmosphere. Lopez welcome celebrity guests, live music and comedy acts.
Though his original intention was to get rid of a lot of late night conventions, Lopez has maintained many. Lopez does introduce guests in an order unexpected by audiences, including opening with a guest rather than a monologue, comedy bit, then the first guest. Overall, the host hopes to create a spontaneous atmosphere on his show.
