Guide Review - Overview: Last Call with Carson Daly
Im neither a frequent Last Call viewer or a fan of the program, but that might be because Ive moved out of both the 18-24 demographic as well as the 25-35 demographic.
It is a hip program, owing much of its base to Dalys MTV-following, and Daly is a likable, giving host. No doubt he will mature into a more successful program someday (Id say expect Late Night with Carson Daly to be a distinct possibility when Conan moves to The Tonight Show).
The show is a half-hour long, except on Fridays, when it stretches to a full hour. Guests are an eclectic mix of celebrities and musicians. Of particular note, rather than a house band, the show features a guest band each week, such as Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and the Govt Mules.
