If you're anything like me, one of your favorite Thanksgiving Day traditions - after eating too much, watching a little football, and realizing that your 8-year-old son could cream you in the 100-yard dash - is to sit with a hot cup of coffee and watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
But over the years, the parade has become more of a Broadway showcase. But the floats have delivered more spectacle than ever before. In short, the parade has its pros and cons.
And Jimmy Fallon, host of Late Night, knows this, too. In fact, he recently delivered some of his own Thanksgiving Day Parade pros and cons, including:
- Pro: Getting to see Snoopy in the Dog House float.
- Con: Seeing General Petraeus in there with him.
- Pro: The parade will feature balloons of Buzz Lightyear, Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog.
- Con: It's not 1993.
