The man who blackmailed talk show host David Letterman has done his time. Now it's back to work.
Robert Halderman, previously serving four months of a six-month sentence for trying to blackmail Letterman by threatening to reveal his relationship with a former staffer, is allegedly working on the new show On The Case with Paula Zahn for the Investigation Discovery Channel. TVNewser broke the news.
Halderman was once a producer on CBS's 48 Hours, a show similar to On The Case. The IDC show investigates crime mysteries. Halderman works for Weinberger Media, specifically, which produces the show for the network.
