Is Letterman Guilty of Double Standard?

Since Thursday evening, when David Letterman revealed on the Late Show with David Letterman that he has had affairs with employees and was the intended victim of a failed $2 million extortion plan, several TV personalities are suggesting that Letterman is now the victim of the jokes he tells.

Most vocal? The late night talk show hosts over at NBC. The Jay Leno Show host - Jay Leno - took a couple quick pot shots at his formal late night rival Friday night.

"If you came here tonight for sex with a talk show host, you've got the wrong studio," he joked during his monologue, then later said, "What is going on? First Conan hit his head, and then somebody tries to extort money from Letterman. I'm so glad I'm out of late night."

Late Night host Jimmy Fallon quipped, "There's a new book out called "Why Women Have Sex" that says there are 237 reasons why women have sex. And folks, Letterman knows the top 10."
