The 2009 Emmy nominees for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series look a lot like last year’s nominees – identical, in fact. The 61st Annual Emmy Award Nominations were revealed this morning. The awards ceremony will take place Sept. 13 at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. It will air on CBS.

Comments
Where the hell is Craig Ferguson on this list???
I noticed Fallon got a nomination but no Craig? That’s just wrong. At least I don’t have to watch it now that he won’t be hosting or was nominated. Those would be the only reasons I would sit thru that crap.
oh please bring jay back and chuck conan and letterman they are so boring
thank goodness for a good nite laugh with craig ferguson
at least he has talent
hope he does not leave late nite
some guests hint that craig ferguson might have a new show somewhere
have you heard any rumors that he is leaving his show??
Back in 2007, Craig Ferguson made a comment that he might decide to leave the ‘Late Late Show’ after his six-year contract is up because he “doesn’t like being famous.” That’s 2011 for all those counting. As of now, though, Ferguson is staying put.
I have to agree with all of the comments thus far. Are the judges sleeping when Craig Ferguson’s show is on? He is the funniest, sharp witted, and shows the most creativity of any of the comedy performers on TV. Craig deserves more than a nod from Emmy.
