What To Watch Tuesday: Will Ferguson Fry Frey?

In 2006, James Frey was the man who almost destroyed Oprah’s Book Club. His memoir, A Million Little Pieces turned out to be nothing more than a patchwork of fiction and tall tales. The revelation led to a smackdown of the author on The Oprah Winfrey Show. And Frey was subsequently shunned by the public.

Now, just three years later, Frey has received an apology from Oprah and has published a couple new novels, each getting mixed reviews. His latest, Bright Shiny Morning, caused one reviewer to call Frey the “literary comeback of the decade.”

Tonight he appears on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. All we can say is, with a backstory that includes the rollercoaster ride of A Million Little Pieces and an apology from Oprah, Ferguson has a lot of comedic material to work with.
