The 'Beatle' Go On Tonight's Colbert
Wow, was that a bad pun or what? "Beatle" - "beat will". Oh my.
The bad joke is in reference to tonight's guest on The Colbert Report. That would be Sir Paul McCartney, one of the two surviving members of the iconic Beatles. He's plugging a new album - a collaboration with the band Youth that will debut under the band name The Firemen.
Colbert is sure to plug McCartney with some questions about who really was the genius behind the Beatles. We'll see if McCartney is in on the joke.
Colbert has had some big name musical guests in the last six months or so, including REM and Paul Simon. After McCartney, Colbert will need to book Elvis to get much bigger in the rock 'n' roll world.
