Call it fate. Call it luck. Call it the machinations of those crafty Republican P.R. media pitchers. First Lady Laura Bush and Cindy McCain, wife of probable Republican presidential nominee John McCain, will both guest host morning talk shows next week.
First up, Mrs. McCain, who will sidle in next to Whoopi and Barbara on Monday’s edition of The View. Should be a good discussion, as Mrs. McCain will add her conservative voice to Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s – and Whoopi is sure to have a few questions for her.
Then, on Tuesday, Mrs. Bush, who will host the 9 a.m. hour of Tuesday’s Today Show. News reports mention that Mrs. Bush will give Ann Curry a tour of the family ranch in Crawford, Texas, so it’s a bit unclear at the moment if Mrs. Bush will be live in New York – or live in Crawford.
But don’t fret! There’s a reason for Mrs. Bush’s visit. She’s plugging her new children’s book, co-written with daughter Jenna, “Read All About It!”

Hello! Good site, very pleased me, continue in a that spirit.
It’s amazing how the mainstream media coddles these horrible people. The Repulicans ruin the country with an un-elected two term disaster of a president and an evil, corrupt VP and yet the media tells the public that more of the same is a viable alternative. Go ahead, continue bankrupting and destroying the country if that’s what you really want.
In most other truly democratic counties, these clowns would be out of office and in jail.
