Those of you out there who read The New York Post earlier this week may have caught a 'Page Six' item (that would be its gossip column) that suggested the end is nigh for The Rachael Ray Show - at least when its 2010 contract is up. Nothing could be further from the truth, according to its distributor, King World Productions.
After the story ran, King World contacted The Huffington Post to correct inaccuracies in the New York Post article. Regarding the article’s assertion that Ray is dropping it ratings, the company pointed to a “Broadcasting & Cable” story that reported Ray’s performance as one of the top in the industry, second only to Dr. Phil in February sweeps. Viewership is up as well, by almost 40,000 viewers.
So we'll no doubt see our sunny Ray for many years to come!
