TomKat Disses our Daytime Diva;
No Wedding Invitation for Oprah

Seems as though Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have opted for a small wedding. Why else would the Hollywood power couple remove talk show host Oprah Winfrey from the guest list? This is assuming she made the guest list to begin with, of course.

The official response is that there just wasn’t enough room in the venue for everyone TomKat would have liked to invite. The two will wed in an Italian castle that seats only 1,400.

It’s either that, or Tom doesn’t want to be reminded of his couch jumping escapade while a guest on Oprah not much more than a year ago. That’s just a guess, of course.

Either way, it’s no hard feelings for our pal. Oprah reports to the Associated Press that she’s find with it, and will still get the couple a gift.

Here’s hoping it’s every episode of Suddenly Susan on DVD.
