Cleveland Magician to Appear Today on Ellen

Last week I told you the tale of Cleveland, Ohio, magician and Guinness World Recorder holder (for farthest thrown playing card) Rick Smith Jr. and his goal of appearing on the Late Show with David Letterman.

Well, he hasn’t hit the Late Show yet, but he’s another step closer. Rick will appear today on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. When I spoke with Rick earlier this year, Ellen was tops on his list of desired appearances as well.

I’ll check back with Rick after his appearance to see how things went. And, hey, Rick, if you’re checking in, break a leg!
